The WAB is the place to go to in Ferndale if you like microbreweries. They have 7 of their own beers on tap and you can even get half gallon beers to go or full kegs. They have a small food menu but the food is very good. There are two floors of seating and also a small patio area outside. If you are into Breweries or drink micro brews then there are many other places around Michigan.
